What is a Multimedia Author?
With the research I have done with my project, and the information I have been reading, I have come to the rough conclusion that when it comes to multimedia there is no such thing as an author. I've come to this conclusion because with the vastness of the internet and other technologies it seems as though there are no rules after one puts something into the world of multimedia. Granted, there are publication in which authors publish articles online and other people generally do not take credit for it, but the point is, they have that option. Now if we look at the term "Multimedia Author", we say it is a person who most likely publishes things online or using some sort of technology. But the term "author" in regards to multimedia doesn't seem to mesh very well.

Mark: So, you're basic conclusion is that a multimedia author is someone who publishes online or using multimedia technology. Now, you then question or ponder why this is authorship. I suppose this becomes a question because of how different it is to publish online or with multimedia technology, difference in distribution, storage, composition, etc. Is that the reason? Or what troubles you there?
