Along with this evolution comes problems with copyright. The article shows that clearly with such a large system as the inter net copyright law is quite blurry. The article goes onto show punishment of copyright infringement such as large fines to jail time. This article is written to show that technology and multimedia are growing faster than technology copyright laws.

This article written by Kyle Hilfer is meant to bring to attention Internet copyright laws, more specifically facebook and "tweet" copyright laws. The article is about Mark Cuban's "tweet" about the officials at a basketball game he was at, this "tweet" was then taken and used on ESPN, and other blogs and internet sites without Cubans consent. The article then brings about the question can this be considered plagiarism? The article continues to question plagiarism in regards to facebook and twitter. The conclusion of the article brings out the blurry lines of copyright laws in regards to technology and multimedia

This article explains the laws attempt to reform copyright law to better serve technology and other multimedia systems, such as the internet and all that it includes. The article explains the dilemma of attempting to reform the laws to include the internet within copyright laws. For instance, the internet has so many people in so many places all at once posting, publishing, copying, pasting, it seems impossible to regulate something like that with a law or multiple laws. The article continues by showing polls and statistics regarding a reform in the law.
Everything looks really good. The only thing I could suggest is making your descriptions a little longer by adding how these sources relate to your topic and will help you for your project. Overall, good job!!!
ReplyDeleteYour sources seem as though they will benefit you paper. Your explanation of the sources is easy to understand and which is good. I think you should add some more details on how these articles will benefit you/how you will use them as well as some drawbacks you may encounter by using them. Overall, it seems as though you have a solid hold on your topic.
ReplyDeleteEverything here looks good. However, I would try to set up the bibs like professor Badwin showed us (3 separate paragraphs). He would probably take off points for this on the final project.
