Thoughts on my topic thus far

I've collected a good amount of information and research regarding my topic, now I think I need to begin thinking specfically about how I am going to construct the project. My thoughts now are what type of formatting to use, do I need to tailor my topic, or narrow it down more? I think, I'm going to stick with copyright laws in regards to the internet and the whole issue with that. I think thats general enough to give me enough information, while specific enough to use alot of detail, along with discussing my personal views.

  1. A good way to organize all the information you have so far would be to construct some time of outline concerning what you want to discuss, and in what order you want to present the info. I think the internet would be your best bet to discuss copyright laws. There are so many things you could talk about.

  2. I was wondering if you might possibly have to narrow your topic to a few things that are related to the Internet. It just seems as though copyright laws in regards to the Internet in general could potentially be a bit bigger of a focus once you get into it. For example, are you going to be focusing on copyright laws with music that is initially published on the Internet, the sharing of music on the internet, the writing of quotes on the Internet, the publication of videos on the Internet, etc. Of course, I don't know how similar the copyright laws for each of these topics related to the Internet are. If they are very similar, then it probably would be good to focus on a wide range of items. However, if there are many differences depending on the item, then you may not be able to delve into as many details as you might like once you get started. I guess it just depends on what you learn about the copyright laws of each. (Sorry so long!)
